Orissa Computer Application Centre (OCAC)
established in 1985, is the designated Technical Directorate of the
Department of IT, Government of Orissa. OCAC has evolved through years
as a Center of Excellence in providing strategic IT applications &
consultancy, e-Governance solutions and computer related training. It
conducts a wide range of training programmes for Government employees,
students and general public to create IT enabled manpower.
OCAC is spearheading the implementation of Orissa State Wide Area
Network, Common Services Centre and State Data Centre under the National
e-Governance Plan. It also facilitates various Govt. Departments in
realizing the Mission Mode Projects. OCAC has also been focusing on
investment promotion in IT and ITES sectors by participating in major IT
events inside the country and outside.
